Casual Alliance Guild Ranks(effective March 1, 2008) Recruit: Welcome recruit! The person that invited you has determined that you may find a home here. A leader will soon send you a welcome letter with basic guild info. Whether you are a brand new player or an experienced one, we would like you to review the guild policies and guidelines on this web site. You are allowed to view and speak on guild chat but may not access the guild bank. You are also allowed to display our guild name but not the heraldry. Once the officers and guildmates have shown you the ropes and answered your questions you begin working on gaining a modest 1000 guild status points. We will be happy to help you with this. When this is done and you have posted an intro of yourself under your name, you are promoted to an Affiliate Member. Affiliate Member: Welcome to Casual Alliance! You have 1000+ guild status points and have earned the right to display the guild heraldry (cloak). You now have full Bank 1 access (100 items per day) so you can easily craft as well as adventure! You should now be working on attaining a total of 5000 guild status points. You may participate in any of the guild or alliance (group or raid) events. If you will be grouping frequently or attending raids with us, you should download the Ventrilo voice chat program. (A microphone is not necessary. You just need to be able to hear.) When you have 5000 GSP and have set up "alliance chat" you will be promoted to full Member. If you achieve 5000+ and have not been promoted, send a tell to a leader. There might be something left they need to check. Member: Once you have a total of 5000 guild status points you achieve Member status. The majority of guildies will be in this rank. You gain full access to banks 1 and 2, can now invite others to our guild AND can purchase that high-level horse you have always wanted. All raise their glasses of JumJum and hail the members of Casual Alliance! Senior Member: Wipe the Orc blood from your sword and pause to reflect on your achievements! This rank has achieved 10,000 status points and has been in guild at least 4 months. Senior members now get limited access to Bank 3, along with their other benefits. Distinguished Member: To achieve "distinguished" status, a guild member must have a total of 100,000 guild status on an individual character and have been in the guild for at least 6 months. Full access to bank 3 allows players to swap items immediately between their characters, making crafting with alts much easier. 100,000 GSP means that the distinguished player has racked up over one MILLION personal status points. Impressive!! Officer: Wow! High status AND added responsibility. These are players that often put the guild before themselves and have volunteered their services for the good of the guild. Potential officers must be on-line frequently, have at least 100,000 guild status points (can be combined among different toons) and have a track record of helping the guild in one way or another. They are nominated by another officer and are voted on by the Officers, Sr. Officers and Leaders. Officers gain more access to Bank 3, have guild recruit permission (via the Recruiting tab), can chat in officer chat and have significant input into guild decisions. Senior Officer: The best of the best! These players have gone way above the call and have shown their selflessness time and time again. They have sacrificed body and soul for the guild. They deserve your respect and reverence. This rank should be on almost every day. Senior officers get access to Bank 4 (1 per day) in addition to the Officer permissions. Senior Officers may be asked to handle the duties of a Guild Leader when a Leader is not on. To become a Senior Officer you must achieve 100,000 status points on an individual character and be voted on by the leaders. Leader: The Leader(s) edit the permissions for all guild ranks, make themselves accessible to handle any guild issues, mediate concerns (looking at things from all sides), and are directly responsible for making sure guild members are having fun. They should like to type and hang out in front of the Norrathian mailbox for hours on end. Leaders edit the MOTD, send guild mail, coordinate alliance events, and should have very thick skin:) Last updated February 29, 2008 by Uged. Doughboy |
